Fall Fire Safety

I feel like we do one of these blogs posts a year, but Halloween/Fall fire safety is incredibly important! I don’t know about you, but for me, nothing is better than lighting a fall smelling candle to usher in some coziness in your home even if it is 90 degrees outside still.
But, with the new season, it’s important to remember fire safety as well. We may not light a whole lot of candles in the house during the spring and summer time, which is why it can easily slip your mind when it comes to lighting them after a long spring season.
Make sure to always blow out your candles before leaving a room, and make sure to put them away from pets. I’ve seen a lot of posts on social media about overly curious cats getting their whiskers and eyebrows singed or catching their tails on fire. Make sure nothing like a drape or a blanket can get caught in the way of an open flame.
