Winter Weather Advisory - 2/5/20
2/4/2020 (Permalink)
Well, we’re officially under a winter weather advisory here in Bedford! I don’t know how long it’s been since we’ve been apart of one of those! Just kidding, it was probably last year, and I’m just being dramatic. Regardless, it’s not going to be a great day out there tomorrow! The advisory starts from midnight tonight until 6 pm Wednesday afternoon. Freezing rain and sleet are expected to coat DFW with some light snow possible. Sleet and snow accumulations are expected to be at about one inch with ice accumulations to be expected to be at about one tenth of an inch. While cities are already preparing for slick roads with preemptive measures and planning on resanding tonight because of all the rain today, it’s important to plan on slick roads, especially around bridges and overpasses. Give yourself plenty of time in the morning for your commute and use caution while driving. Prepare your home for these conditions too. Wrap exposed pipes and faucets and be safe!
